Dragging a Window is different now??

A setting has changed? Now when I hold down/drag a window to another location
- I only see the bounder outline of the window, while dragging. How come? I
used to see the the entire contents of the window while dragging it.

Thanks

No. Bob I.

This is the correct Path: Control Panel/Display Properties/Tab -
Appearance/Button - Effects/Check off: Show window contents while dragging

Actually Bob I is not wrong; the option for "show window contents..." is
in both places. Personally, when I'm optimizing a client's machine I
like to go to the Effects tab and turn off transitions and adjust
anti-aliasing but nothing else. Then I prefer to go to the System applet
(as Bob I does) and uncheck everything except a few things. Makes XP go
so much faster. But it doesn't matter whether you adjust that same
setting in the Display or System applet.
