There is a specific folder stored in the "my documents" area on my laptop
that causes a 'windows encountered an unexpected error and needs to close'
message everytime I try to drag and drop it into another folder. I have
tried all possible updates and am considering going back to factory defaults
to fix the problem. Does any have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Open "My Computer", right-click the C: drive, click Properties, Tools,
click the "Check Now" button. This will check for errors on the hd.

Also try moving just a few files at a time to another folder with the
same name. Click a file, then shift/click the last in a series,
right-click and select copy, go to the other folder and paste them.
After all files are moved, try deleting the original folder.

If there's a crash, try one file at a time. There may be a damaged file
that's causing the problem.
