Hello,

I can't drag and drop anymore for an unknown reason. It just stopped
working :(

I can't drag files into my mp3 player anymore, I can't drag files from
folder to folder anymore. When I click and try to drag the file to an
other folder, nothing happens, it's like I'm just moving my cursor.

Hi

Try this:

Right click on the Start button and select Properties>Customize - then check
'Enable dragging and dropping'.

Hmm, nothing changed. I applied it, tried - still couldn't move icons
on my desktop with the mouse(or anywhere else).

Restarted, still didn't work.

Adding to Will Denny advise try this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
Click on Security Tab then on Custom level and there scroll to the option
and check the Enable radio button:
[&] Drag and Drop
(*) Enable
( ) Disable

Another you may have Policy settings that set up to block/prevent drag and
drop so you can verify this through the command:
gpedit.msc
Another through this reg file:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;309662
http://aumha.org/downloads/dragndropx.zip

Or you can copy and paste this Key to an Notepad and save as drop.reg on
you Desktop and you can Import it to the same Key in your registry.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre
ntVersion\Policies\Explorer]
NoChangeStartMenu DWORD 00000000

HTH.
Let us know.
