draft mode

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Print | check the "Draft output" box
| OK. Depending on what printer you have, it may also be possible to
select draft mode or toner save mode in File | Print | Properties.
 
On the Print tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Draft output."
