Not sure if right group but anyway...

Everytime I try and download something by right clicking
a link and "Save target as" The download screen popsup
and the frezzes, I have to then click on "x" in corner
which will put "not responding" in the title bar. Which
in turn pops up the END NOW box and I have to click END
NOW. Then repeat the same steps several times before I'll
eventually get a Send Don't/Send error report and IE
closes.

It is a link that has something to download. So not sure,
what is going on.

Start by making sure your computer is clean of all viruses and spyware.
Do this by 1) scanning with current antivirus ("current" means a
version not earlier than 2002 but using updated virus definitions); and
2) remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy (www.security.kolla.de)
and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com). Be sure to update these programs
before running, and it is a good idea to do virus/spyware scans in Safe
Mode. Once you are sure your computer is clean, if you still have the
problem, please repost. Be sure to tell us how you connect to the
Internet (method and ISP) and what you've already done to troubleshoot.
