Downloading Windows XP Service Pack 2

Why does it take so long to download service pack 2. I have been downloading
it for the past 2 hours and it has only downloaded 23.70MB 0f 93.10Mb and I
use BT Broadband.

Because the real SP2 is about 300mb and you chose to download only the parts
your PC needs..... and not the rest. Therefore during your download it has
to check your hard drive to find out exactly which parts you need and which
parts you don't and sort it out.

You may wish to discontinue your current download and use:
