Downloading video clips

Hello..

First of all I am not sure what category I am supposed to be on here for
this..so I apologize if I am way off base.

I am trying to download video clips from Oprah.com
of Tolle Eckhart..
While trying to watch on the site..the clips kept freezing.
vey annoying. So two of my friends said they downloaded the clips and played
in Itunes and did not have the freezing up.
They both said it took just a few minutes to download.
so..
Well what the heck is going on with my computer?
I tried to download just regularly and it said 2-3 hours!! I have high speed.
Then I tried to download thru Itunes and it said 5 hours!! what might be the
reason why I am not getting the quick download.?
I would love to know if anybody knows why this is.

NO.. I KNOW I have High speed..I had dial up years and years ago..

every thing else comes in in seconds..or under a minute.
