Downloading screensavers?

Where do you save downloaded screensavers so that they will come up in the
screensaver list, in the "choose screensaver" section of control panel?

The C:\Winodws\System32 directory. Note: some third party screensavers come
with installers you must run first, also a screensaver can be a *virus*.
Scan the file before you try and use it.

James, WinXP looks for them in C:\Windows\System32 folder. They have a
..scr extension.

James,
Not meaning to be irritating, but find a nice picture of your
mother-in-law and put it as your wallpaper... You will have less
trouble with her and your computer and save a lot of processor
and memory usage..
