downloading programs

ive tried downloading programs off the internet and they arent completing.
the little box pops up and says that the download is complete but then i cant
install the program. ive tried downloading a download manager program and it
downloaded and installed fine but when i would search for programs to
download on it, the browser wouldnt work. does anyone know what the problem
is? is it just windows vista, my computer or what?

Hi,

If you are trying to run the download from the web, don't. Use the save
option, then right click the file you downloaded and use 'run as
administrator'.
