Have you tried right clicking on the files and "Unblocking" the files and
hitting the Apply button?

Some possibilities for your unnamed programs:

1. Check with the programs' makers to see if there are Vista-compatible
versions, patches, or workarounds.

2. Run in compatibility mode - look in Vista's Help for "compatibility
mode".

3. Right-click on the installers and Runas Administrator.

You can run programs using the Compatibly Mode feature in Vista, like run a
program in Win XP, Win 2K, Win 98, etc etc modes. but that's no guarantee.

You should be aware of what applications are Vista compatible. If it's not
on the list or future list, then it's not Vista compatible and may not run.

That *probably* means that the download is corrupted. Does that same exact
download work on the XP machine? I would redownload the installer if I were
you.

That error message is Windows-neutral and means that the binary itself is
corrupt without regards to Windows version.

Are you running Vista 64 bit??? That could be the problem.

You need to ask about this in an Office newsgroup. This is just a general
newsgroup for the OS.
