Downloading Problems

I have tried to download ie6 many times. Each time I do I
get the message that I have something running that I need
to shut down. It won't tell me what and I have no idea
what it could be. I even shut my clock down.

What is running when you try to download?

What are the tasks running when you do a CTRL+ALT+DEL?

What are the error message(s)?
