My computer just crashed, but before it did I was able to
download files from the same webpage, say for instance,
video clips, I think I would be able to download around 8
files at the same time before it started to slow down my
internet. Now I can only download 2 at a time. Does
anyone know how to get me back to my 8 download
greatness? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Jimeney,
You didn't mention what OS you're using. If XP, try here:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
It's on line 55 on the right hand side.

This describes the "manual" Registry hack:
How to Configure Internet Explorer to Have More Than Two Download Sessions
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];282402
This article (even though it doesn't say so) is also supposed to work with
W98.
The default download limit "is" 2 in IE6.

HTH,
Curt
