downloading media to temporary internet forlder befor viewing

previously when i would download media from the web ie audio video. My system
would show a pop up window with a progress bar ( download media to temporary
folder). This would happen automaticly. Then after it was done my media
player would automaticly open up and play the media. i liked it that way.
somehow, this got changed and now my media player opens up right away and
buffers the video. I don't like this at all. I want it back the old way. i've
tried to fix this for a couple of days now and can't seem to get it back to
the old way. Can somebody pls help?

You could alter this behaviour through Control Panel > Folder Options/ File
Types tab scrolling down to the file extension of the media files effected
and double click it. Click Advanced button and check the "Confirm open after
download" box and OK.
