downloading large files - problems

Peter

When I try to download a large file, eg 250 MB, the file
starts to download, then stops, stays stopped and times
out eventually. At times I have been able to cancel and
restart and the fiel picks up from where it left off. At
other times I cannot do this and cannot download the
file. I am using windows XP Pro, Explorer 6.0 and
Roadrunner connection. Thanks for ideas or suggestions.

Use a download manager, such as "FlashGet" or "Download Mage". Look on
download.com

He already said. See the text "roadrunner" in his original message? They
don't provide dial-up.
