downloading java

hey, i seem to be having a prob with downloading java to
play games and such. anybody have any ideas how to
correct this problem? when ever i try it comes back
with"your current security setting prohibits running
active x controls on this page. as a result, the page may
not display correctly". any ideas would be appreciated.

microsoft and sun solaris argue about whom JAVA belongs to
and so to avoid another court law seuit microsoft is no longer
supplying/supporting JAVA, but it can still be found, downloaded and
installed and it WORKS!
