Downloading data when pasting from a web page

Is there any reason why Word re-downloads text when pasting from a web page?
All this does is retrieve the same text that is already on the clipboard, and
it can take several seconds.

I suggest that Word use the clipboard text by default; possibly, there could
be an additional choice on the Paste Options Button to "update from the web".

If you're cutting and pasting from a web page, the additional downloading
relates to the peripheral items needed in order to render that text
correctly, such as the style sheet(s). If you just want the plain text, use
PasteSpecial and select unformatted text.
