Hello,
since I installed XP Service Pack 2 all files I download in IE
won't run directly if I double click them.
Windows claims the publisher can not be verified... blah blah.
If I view the properties of the files (ALT-Return) there is a text
that says:
"This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help
protect this computer".
Next to it there is a button "unlock". After pressing this and "Apply"
all is working fine.
How can this """feature""" be disabled?
Since it is more than annoying to do that with every single file you
download.
Completely disabling DEP by switch in boot.ini doesn't work either.
BTW, why should it help to "block" for example
files like incredibly harmful -mp3-files?!?
Well, if there is no possibility to disable that crappy feature maybe it
was the last time I was using IE - in Mozilla/Firefox/... the problem
does not occur.
