When trying to import data from Excel to Outlook, download translator cannot
find L4561403.CAB file on installation disc.

Microsoft Outlook 2003. When I want to import contacts from an Excel file,
it says it has to install the required translator and then it asks for the
original CD that the program was installed from. When I put the CD in, it
cannot find the file L4561403.CAB and cannot install the translator so I
never can import contacts from Excel or other files.

Office installation problems are handled in the Office groups.
You appear not to have a valid installation source.
Is this the CD from which you installed Office originally? What happen if
you use the Office Maintenance Wizard to install Outlook's Importers and
Exporters?
