download to convert large pdf files into word?

I am a school governor and need to convert some large pdf files into word.
This is for a welcome pack for new governors. I have 10 word files and 3 pdf
files that I want to merge into one large document. Any Office add-ons out
there? I am using Office XP pro.

Get the full version of Acrobat (or one of the freebie clones). Open the
PDF, save as Word. If you have an earlier version of Acrobat (pre version 6)
you can save as RTF, which Word can open.

In all cases, the quality of what you end up with will depend on how the
original documents were created. If they were created using Word in the
first place, the result will likely be fairly good. If they were created
using a page layout program (PageMaker, Quark, etc) the result may well be
close to unusable.

But if your intention is only to combine these files into one package, it
would be less work to convert your 10 Word files to PDF and use Acrobat to
combine them with the existing PDFs.
