Any suggestions on the following issues? They just started happening from one
day to the next. Platform is Windows XP Pro.
(1) Whenever I try to download or view video, exe, ZIP, or PDF files from
the Web, I get an error stating that "Internet Explorer cannot download
[file] from ...The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be
found."
(2) When I need to save image files, I can do the first few, then they start
to save as bitmap files and without the original name. I can edit and save
them as a GIF or JPG in a photo editor, but it would be nice to have the
downloading to behave properly in the first place.
