I have completed the download of build 5536 saved it to the downloads folder
I even saw it in there but it was only 721kb in size after opening the
folder a second time it wasn't there anymore
this is the second time this has happened does anyone have any idea where it
could have gone it's not in any cache folder or temp folder searching by
file name comes up with nothing yet after downloading it twice there is
about 5 gig less free space on my hdd so it must be going somewhere right ?

You have a bad download. Can't explain why. This happened to me 10-15
times. One method would give me 721 bytes (like you) and another download
method gave me 907 bytes. I kept on trying and eventually got the correct
download that was 2.7 GB. This took 2-3 hours to download using a fast DSL
fiber optic line. All I can say is keep trying. It must be an issue with
the download site.

One method that worked with me was to download a different "Download
Manager". I like DAP, which is free. Then you can right mouse click on the
link and get a menu option that says, "Download with DAP". Select that and
it worked fine. Other option is to keep on trying at different times of the
day. Get it done before the 100,000 limit (they will cut the download off).

I got lucky, after 3 times downloading the 907kb file, suddenly the real
download kicked in.
