Download email at logon

System is WinXP with Office 2003 Program is Outlook

I have searched Google and nothing found.

Can there be a configuration to set Outlook to download email
automatically as soon as the program is started?
I see there is a setting to do this at program closure and at certain times.

Look through the Tools> Options in outlook
send/receive on starting
poll for mail every 10 mins

Not necessarily - it's not particularly obvious that setting a polling time
will result in Outlook automatically downloading email AT STARTUP.....
