Download but disappearing

everytime I downlaod anything off the net, it does the process but then when
I go to the folder where I saved it.. it appears and then when finished
download.. just disappears!!!!! This is really getting on my nerves since My
job online requires me to download a lot.. Now I'm three weeks behind and
can't download a thing.. well I can but it's gone.. some download and stay
but not very many files. Please help, wendy

Do not download to Temporary Internet Files. They can get deleted
automatically without your permission.

Try this...
Open My Documents
Right click a blank space
Point to New and click on Folder
Name it My Download Files (or similar)
Always save downloads to that folder.
Then you know where you downloaded something and it shouldn't get deleted.

That's what I'm doing.. I make my own files in my doc's or my pictures.
but still not working. Lately I've made one folder right on my desktop.. not
working.. they still dissappear. Please help.. wendy

I always do such downloads by right linking the link to the file, and
using Save Target As
