Downgrade driver?

I know how to do it through the "Roll back Driver," thing, but I would have
to insert the disk which only my brother knows where it's located...

Thing is, I don't really want him to know that I messed up his computer...

Anyways, I was updating my driver [RADEON 9200 SERIES] to a [HIGHTECH
EXCALIBUR RADEON 9200 VIVO].

Well (and this is not a new problem), ALWAYS, whenever
I update my RADEON 9200 SERIES, my monitor won't display unless I wait a
couple of hours. And when I do wait a couple of hours, and turn my computer
on, it turns out displaying in 640 by 480 pixels, and Lowest - 4 colors.

Well, if I uninstall that driver (that's my main one, though I have a
Secondary one that is not updated), then restart the computer, will I be
fine? Will I still be able to get my previous driver? Oh, and if you have
time, could someone tell me why as to why that ALWAYS happens?

Thanks so much!!!

Oh. Uh, could anyone also tell me why I have to wait so long for the display
to work again...? #_#

I seriously have to wait 5 hours before it'll start working again.

Thanks again.

(Sorry for double post.)

Update your driver from ATI site, assuming its a desktop, and check out the
info on how to update the driver
