Down(65526) message shown in Terminal Server Manager

I have terminal services running in admin mode on win2000
SP3 server, connections are enabled in Terminal Services
Configuration yet in Terminal Services Manager next to
the protocol where I would expect to see"RDP-Tcp
(listener)" I get the message "Down (65536)" and no
connection is possable. If I try to connect from a client
I get the "server too busy" message.

Can anyone help?
Regards mark Andrews.

Is there anything in the EventLog?
Here's one (of many) reasons for this problem:

270588 - Remote Desktop Protocol Clients Cannot Connect to Terminal
Services Server
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=270588

If that doesn't solve the problem, you might have to recreate the rdp-tcp
connection. Check here for more information:

258021 - Event ID 52 When You Start Terminal Services
