Double Spacing while using Numbering

I am using single space except for the numbering section.

I am using and numbering. It worked fine, but after I hit return and
it creates the next number everything is single space. Sample below:

1. Hey it’s me. What’s going on?
Nothing much.
2. The brown cow jumped over the moon.
Watch the cat meow.
3. Hey I am king of the world.

I want it to look like:

1. Hey it’s me. What’s going on
Nothing much.

2. The brown cow jumped over the moon.
Watch the cat meow
3. Hey I am king of the world.

I know I posted this before but it wasn't in the correct format. Also, I am
using Word 2003

In Format | Paragraph and the Space After section, set the space after to 12
pts for a full linespace between the numbered paragraphs (6 pts will give you
a half linespace). Hope this sorts out your problem.
