Look at your wrapping options.
To wrap text to the window size
1 On the View menu, click Options.
2 Under Word wrap, click the option you want.
Notes
* The wrapping options affect only how text appears on your screen. When
printed, the document uses the margin settings specified in Page Setup.
* You can set different word wrap options for each of the text formats in
which you can save documents.
No wrap
[[Specifies that a paragraph of text continues on a single line regardless
of window size, page size, or margin settings.]]
Wrap to window
[[Specifies that text wraps to the next line when it reaches the sides of
the window. This setting does not affect how the text looks when printed.]]
Wrap to ruler
[[Specifies that text wraps to the next line when it reaches the margins of
the page.]]
