Double sided printing.

I want to print a 10 page document. First sheet of paper has page One on one side, turn page over and page two is on the other side. Sounds goofy, but I can't find how to do this. I know my printer (HP deskjet 840C) can do this as it worked when I had ME installed, but now I have 2000, I can't find the checkbox/radio button that says 'double sided printing'. So, do I just have to print Even pages then flip them around and reprint odd pages? Or is there a quicker, lazier way :)

The ability to do double sided printing is a service provided by the
printer manufacturer. If your printer doesn't support automatic double
sided printing, the manufacturer won't put that option the printer
driver and therefore you won't be able to select it.

The "lazy" way to do double-sided printing is to buy a printer that does
double sided printing.

The other way is to do it manually re flipping pages, odd, even, etc. I
find that way terribly confusing, frankly. Only do it when it's
absolutely essential

To add to what Rob has says, if your printer can do double-sided printing
and you could select it before, then the problem is in the ME printer
driver. It might be that you have installed the wrong printer, or that you
need to get an updated driver from HP. But it is probably worth checking all
the advanced printer settings first, as you might find that duplex printing
has just been disabled.

And if you do have to duplex manually, the "easy" way is to print the odd
pages, flip the paper over (removing the last sheet if there is not a
corresponding even page), and then print the even pages *in reverse order*.
