double incoming messages

I have two mail accounts but I receive double messages. Each account has box
checked to leave a copy on server. Both accounts are identical other than
name.

So, are you saying the email account and the server names are identical on
both of your WM account setups? If the two WM accounts are referencing the
same single email address on the same email servers, then they would both
pull in the same email (duplicates).

Otherwise, do you have those two email accounts setup (at their respective
web accesses) to pull in each other's mail there? That would then be
sending multiple copies to your WM Inbox as well.

Sorry, not following you mean . . . .

Perhaps you can list the info such as:
(e-mail address removed) pop3.xabc.com smtp.xabc.com
(e-mail address removed) pop3.xabc.com smtp.xabc.com
(e-mail address removed) pop3.xabc.com smtp.xabc.com

Be sure to get the info from the Tools - Accounts - Properties - tabs for
each account. You can fudge the actual email address a little so as not to
inspire the spammers. What I'm looking for is whether you have duplication
in those setups. Of course if they are all with the same email provider the
servers will be the same (xabc.com), but on the general tab and perhaps the
servers tab you have two accounts setup identically (used the same
individual email address / mailbox even though the visual reference name is
different).

And if on the website access (xabc.com has a place on the web where you can
logon and get mail there), any of those accounts receives another's mail,
then downloads it to your WM mail client, you could have duplication. If
John's account also receives Sue's mail, then when John's mail is sent to
the WM mail client, it will also send Sue's - a second time.
