double clicking on ANY file and getting "Welcome to Windows Audio

Everytime I double click on ANY file to try and open it, the "Welome to
Windows Audio Converter" screen pops up. I hit cancel then right click the
file scroll to open and then open it that way. How do I Keep the "Welome to
Windows Audio Converter" screen from popping up everytime I double click on
ANY file and back to simply opening up the desired file when I double click?
It's driving me nuts! Any help is greatly apprreciated!
