The odd thing is that Microsoft is aware of this issue
since the release of XP nearly two yrs ago but has done
nothing to fix it. This happens when you go into the
folder options in the control panel and click file types
and then start to look at them. This is easily fixed but
will happen again when you look at the file types so write
this fix down and keep it handy. Go>Start\run and type in
regsvr32 /i shell32 and hit ok. Please note that there is
a space after 32 and before the / and after i and before
the shell32. Good luck.
