double-bookings in Outlook calendar?

Hello

I'm not at all familiar with Outlook calendar so wonder if anyone could
help. Someone has set up a room booking system in Outlook calendar so that a
group of us can add bookings from our own computers. Trouble is it allows
people to double-book the time slot. Is there a way to ensure only one entry
can be accepted for a particular time.
