dot pitches and 1600 x 1200 LCDs

I'm looking at getting a Samsung 204B since prices have dropped. This
monitor has a 0.255mm dot pitch. I've used 19" monitors (0.294mm dot
pitch), and the fonts are quite readable. I've heard some people
complain of small fonts on 17" LCD monitors (0.264mm dot pitch). I guess
the larger pixels is reason most people choose a 19" over 17" screen,
since both are 1280x1024 and the price differences are small. Larger
pixels effectively means you can place the monitor further away from
your face. I'm worried the 0.255mm dot pitch on 20" LCDs might be a
problem on my eyes after a while. Has this been a problem for anyone else ?
