Dot Leaders

Does anyone know how to insert dot leaders in a table? I can put them in when
they are not in a table but when I try to do the same thing in a table the
leaders don't appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just like outside a table -- you insert a tab into a table cell with
Ctrl-Tab; set the tab stop via the ruler or via the tabs dialog panel,
and in the tabs dialog panel select the tab stop line and give it a
dot leader.

You can still add a tab stop with a period leader in a table cell, but you
must use Ctrl+Tab to move to the tab stop.
