I have a windows 2000 machine with a bad H.D. I need to
get about 10meg worth of files from it and am able to
boot with a floppy. Is there a DOS command that would
prompt me to insert another diskette after a full one?
I've tried copy and xcopy to no avail. Thanks

can you put the drive into another machine as a second/slave drive?

Then boot the PC up and transfer the files from the bad drive.

OR make this drive a slave, and install a new primary HD
then see if you can copy data off the old one.
