DOS programs will not print from XP Home

Got new PC with Windows XP Home Edition and now cannot
print from existing ms-dos program. Program was written
in C++ and writes to PRN. How can I get it to print?
Works on Windows 95/98/ME. Thanks

Hi,

I have the same problem, and have tried the method in
Sanderson's article. When I enter the command
"net use lpt1: \\computername\sharename" I get the message
"The network location cannot be reached" system error 1231

Cannot find info on error 1231
