My apologies if this is the wrong forum.

I have MSDOS based program that opens up in full screen in
WIN98 machines but only half screen in WIn XPpro machines.

I tried all the properties settings on the program icon,
set them like the WIN98, but no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Make a Shortcut of the Dos program (you should get a PIF with the MSDOS logo
on it) then go to properties on the shortcut, then click on the screen tab
and check the "Full Screen" option

Do the Win98 machines have CRTs and the XP machines have high resolution
LCDs?

Missed the original here... look for a .pif for the dos program. In the
properties (under "screen," I believe) there should be a checkbox for "Full
screen." Check that.

I've same problem with my old msdos program. works well in
full screen of Win98se, but half screen in Winxp. No
amount of tweaking in properties of shortout to this msdos
program can resolve this bloody headache!

Can anyone help?

Have you tried ALT+ Enter? That should toggle to fullscreen.

Thanks, Patrick

Yes, I'm aware of getting a full screen by ALT+Enter
and/or other options in Properties of shortcut.
I want to launch my old msdos program from a shortcut on
the WinXp Desktop such that the display would be in full
screen, This is possible on my old faithful Win98 desktop.
Any help?
