Dos printing with XP Home

Is there any way to redirect lpt2 to a network printer for a dos
application without having the share seem by the other XP computers on
my network?

Before I upgraded the machine from 98SE, I was using the netbui
protocol and the printer has a netbui name \\ricoh\aficio_1035 but
this isn't recognized by XP.

Having the share seen by other XP computers is, well, too confusing
for my folks...
