What is the Dos command for installing Wi98 from a CD rom which doesn't start
automatically (after a complete Format of the HD)?

You'd be best off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to Windows
98. If Microsoft's web interface no longer has a newsgroup related to
Windows 98 (which wouldn't surprise me), try any of the Windows-related
groups. (Have you looked for Setup.EXE or AutoRun.EXE in the root? If
there's a file AutoRun.INF, look in it for the name of an executable.)
