Don't want the textbox to autofit in my new template

I check "Stop Autofitting to Placeholder" and save it as pot, but to no
avail. The textboxes on the master slide does not Autofit, it's only
activated in the normal view.

I'm on XP, PPT 2003.

As Echo says, it is machine specific. So to stop it from occuring on YOUR
computer go to TOOLS >> AUTOCORRECT OPTIONS >> AUTOFORMAT AS YOU TYPE tab
and uncheck the bottom 3 items (some people like the 'automatic bulleted and
numbered lists, some don't - it is an optional).

That setting is machine-specific, not template- or presentation- specific.
