10 users are using PST's on Outlook 2000 and 2002. They have Exchange
2003 now (SBS 2003). I want to import the pst's into the message stores
so that they can see all their mail via OWA and backups are easier and
every other benefit to message store over pst.
I tried changing the delivery location last night on one user. Then I
started moving the subfolders and email, contacts, etc... from the
personal folders to the message store by draggind and dropping in
Outlook. After about 200 MBs worth (halfway through), it suddenly told
me i couldn't copy, couldn't move, had no rights, etc.... I checked
rights on Exchange and added the user to permissions for the mailbox
and gave full rights. I checked permissions on Outlook and gave owner
rights. I made sure there were no size limits. I couldn't even add a
new contact manually!
So I backed the whole thing out and went back to the pst.
What is the best way to convert from using .pst back to the message
store?
