Don't want link

I have a list of e-mail addresses on a spreadsheet. They automatically
convert to hyperlinks. I don't want these as links- simply a list of
addresses. How do I prevent this from happening?

Just select and copy the data and do right click>>Paste Special>>Values>>Ok.

I had already tried that and for some reason it is not working. Any (other)
suggestions?

What you can do is after you have typed the email address right click on the
cell and select Remove Hyperlink option.

But u need to do it manually for all the cells one by one, u can't select
all and remove the hyperlink in one go.
