Don't prompt for PW when Boot

XP Prof with SP1 with NTFS drive

Hi there,
maybe this sounds a bit funny, but the first time I have installed XP on my
machine, it was Password protected, but XP didn't prompt for it with boot.
With the next installation, I couldn't re-create this. Ihave helped my dad
with his upgrade from WIN98SE to XP Prof, and now his PC is the same as my
first time.
Under User Accounts it states clearly that it is PW protected, but he
doesn't get asked for it with boot.

How can I re-create this? Or do I have to re-format again.

Get TweakUI. There's a selection there to automatically log in as a
specific user, as I recall.
