don't know what to do next.

I'm trying to open a page where i could change the resolution of my
screen. However when i try to open that section, the computer almost
acts if it ignores my command to open that section. I'm trying to
change the resolution to 32 bit!!! that's all i want to do, is there
any other way to get to those settings, rather than using Control
Panel/Themes Appearance.. etc....

someone please help

Right click an empty area of the desktop. Choose Properties>Settings Tab.
Change the stuff you want there. Remember to click Apply and then OK on the
way back out.
