Domain User acct cannot login on WIN XP Pro

when a domain user tries to login to one of our XP pro
workstations the following occurs: "Your account has been
configured to prevent you from using this computer, Pls.
try other computer" i have not seen this before. any ideas?

WIN2K Domain servers are used. XP just rolled out.
