Domain Trust

Hello Everybody,

I've two domains with bi-directional trust relation, one domain is services
domain and the other is users domain, like you known when a user try to log
on he can select between to logon locally and the two domains.

I'd like to delete the option of services domain, but I don't known how I
can configure the pc client to only display the options that I want.

Thanks in advance

I don't believe there is a way of doing such. You can however configure the
user rights for logon locally, deny logon locally, access this computer from
the network, and deny access this computer from the network to restrict
users from accessing resources in a domain understanding that you don't ever
want to include users or everyone in a deny user right. If you have a
Windows 2003 forest trust you can use selective authentication to manage
what resources a user can access in a trusting domain by managing the
permission for allowed to authenticate for the computer object in Active
Directory.. --- Steve

Hello Steve,

Thanks for your collaboration, I known the options that you explain but I’d
like to accomplish that the user only can see the user domain and logon
locally when they spread the connect to box.

It’s only a wish to have a best user platform.

Thanks.

I understand but have never heard of a way. If it is possible you may want
to search the tips and tricks at JSI. If it is possible the info would be
there. --- Steve
