domain synchronization

Hi!

Whether it is possible to delegate (somehow) the right to
synchronize the domain (by repadmin, for example) to the
user, not being domain administrator?

I'm not certain how you would accomplish this - but I'm curious as to why
you think someone other than a domain admin should sync the DCs?

You can delegate the permission at the root level of the domain in
ADUC. You can either use the delegation wizard or the security tab.
The group that you delgate rights to need reed rights, replicate
directory changes, replicate synchronizations.

You can then create a .bat file to sync the domain with repadmin.

EXAMPLE: repadmin /sync dc=domain,dc=com dcname quid

You can search technet for more details on that.

As for the previous post I don't know why they even posted with no
answer or recommendation.
