i promote one of my server to domain controller let say abc.com, all of my
workstation validate user to this server. so i created another domain
abc2.com that are part of abc.com i mean the parent is abc.com, i want to
replicate all users to abc2.com and promote to parent domain. and bring down
the abc.com, wat should i do..everytime i down the abc.com, the abc2.com look
for abc.com...need help! thank you.

I don't think this is possible if both domains are in the same forest. The
initial domain abc.com is the forest root, and can't be brought down even if
you switch all the FSMO roles to the new child domain. What you should do
is as follows.

1. Bring up new forest called abc2.com (I recommend something .LAN though)
2. Use the built-in migration tools from MSFT, or a third-party tool to
then migrate all the users / groups / and computers to the new domain.
3. Setup a trust between the two domains to allow users to login to the new
domain from workstations joined to the old domain.
4. Use a login script to run NETDOM to join all the workstations from the
old domain to the new domain.

Third-party migration tools offer better solutions.

thank you very much for the reply. may i know what migration tools to enable
transfer of users to another domain or any recommendations 3rd party
software? what is NETDOM?
