Domain Admins Group denied accesss in XP

Domain Admins Group -in Windows 2000 Domain - is being
denied access to certain tasks on a XP machine. Things
like running SP2, accessing Security Event Viewer, using
system restore, adding or removing hardware from Device
Manager, etc

Hi Richard,

on Windows XP right click My Computer and select Manage. Under Local
computers click on Groups and double click on group "Administrators". Is
"Domain Administrators" group listed here?

The domain admins group is in the local group but with no
success
