Doing updates and patches from removalable drive

ed

I have been doing a lot of work recently on PC to fix
some issues that require a reload of the OS. Many of the
people I have worked with only have dial-up so installing
fixes and patches can take forever to get the product
current. Is there a simple way I can download the
current SPs and patches to an external USB drive and then
install them from this external drive to computers I am
working with instead of using the Windows update feature
over a 28.8k dialup connection?
